Hurricane Season is Here; Poll Shows Residents Still Aren't Prepared With Hurricane Kits and Supplies

Hurricane Survival PlanJune 1st marked the beginning of hurricane season and the American Red Cross reminds us to prepare a hurricane survival kit by having hurricane survival supplies readily available and easily transportable. But a poll commissioned by the NOAA shows that only many residents of the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts still do not have a hurricane survival plan. Experts say that residents inland are probably even less prepared for a hurricane.

The Hurricane Center and the American Red Cross urge residents to not rely on the Government to protect them in the event of a massive hurricane like Katrina. Instead, they urge residents to prepare before the storm by having a hurricane survival kit with hurricane survival supplies.

Our survival kits come with 72 hour supplies of emergency food and water with a 5-year shelf-life. They also include all the emergency shelter, sanitation, communication, first aid, and lighting you need. Our hurricane kits come with extra supplies specifically designed to help prepare you for a hurricane such as additional shelter and survival supplies.

Don’t wait until it’s too late…prepare for a hurricane today. Within minutes, you and your family can be prepared with hurricane survival supplies for 5 years. And then, you only need to replace a few items. Please contact us if you have any questions about how we can help you with your hurricane survival plan.
