Hurricane Season is Here; Poll Shows Residents Still Aren't Prepared With Hurricane Kits and Supplies

June 1st marked the beginning of hurricane season and the American Red Cross reminds us to prepare a hurricane survival kit by having hurricane survival supplies readily available and easily transportable. But a poll commissioned by the NOAA shows that only many residents of the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts still do not have a hurricane survival plan. Experts say that residents inland are probably even less prepared for a hurricane.
